Incompatibility with php8 and above

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, the plugin wordpress-seo is not compatible with php 5 or php 8.1 version and it gives these errors

    Are you using version 19.13 of Yoast SEO? Are all other plugins, your themes, and your WordPress core up to date?

    Please know that we are continuously improving our plugin(s) to have fewer or better no warnings or deprecation notices. This is a big task to do, but with every release, we’re improving. They shouldn’t impact the features of the plugin, however. Please know that we recommend not to have debugging enabled on a production site.

    Yes, I am using version 19.13
    My wordpress version is 6.1.1

    also, status on depreciated call update please

    Thank you for you reply.

    I’m not able to reproduce all the undefined properties you shared in the beginning. If you install the Health Check plugin and you enable troubleshooting mode – and only activate Yoast SEO – do you have the warnings in this scenario? Maybe there is Yoast integration code in any of your other plugins or your active theme that has old code that is no longer compatible with us.

    I assume that the deprecation only appears in the Query Monitor plugin and not in the debug logs or in the WP admin panel. Note that deprecations don’t break any WordPress functionality and are not actual errors, so you can ignore them. We’ll eventually fix the reason that causes that deprecation in due course.
