Incompatibility with Jetpack ‘post by email’

  • Hi,

    I recently enabled Jetpack post by email (https://jetpack.com/support/post-by-email/) and found that the [category] shortcode consistently failed to categorise correctly; everything arrived Uncategorised. When I disable LinkToBible the categories start to appear as expected.

    Yes, this does seem very strange!

    Can you give me any hints on where to start looking for a solution on this?

    Indeed it is unfortunately not possible for each plugin to be activated in parallel with every other plugin. This is unfortunately due to the architecture of WordPress itself.

    It is also possible that other plugins do not use the WordPress API properly.

    “Link-To-Bible” uses the WordPress API according to the specifications.

    Unfortunately I don’t have the possibility to look at the code of Jetpack to identify possible problems.
