Incompatibility with Fastest Cache ?

    Hello.

    Today i found my self as admin, locked out. Later on i found this a few hundred times:

    Visitor was found to be on the Black List with IP address “46.173.211.160” and their connection was killed.

    But this IP is not mine but from Russia.

    The problem seems to come from caching and Fastest Cache plugin i installed yesterday.

    Never had any problem with The Shield plugin and caching, i have been using Comet cache and Litespeed cache for a long time in several WordPress sites.

    Any ideas what could be the problem ? Seems strange that I was presented with a block page while the blocked IP was not mine. I had no other options of caching enabled (compress and combine and optimizations). Just caching.

    Any one else has seen that ?

  • is the ip checked via PHP or via htaccess? If the ip checked via PHP, it does not work because the page is saved as a static html file so PHP does not work.

    @emrevona Shield plugin doesn’t work with .htaccess, then i guess everything is via PHP.

    it means that the plugin cannot be compatible with cache plugins.

    @emrevona Not so. The Shield works great with Comet Cache and Litespeed cache for me for ages.

    So what you say is not true. Comet Cache lite does php type and Litespeed via .htaccess.

    So apparently your plugin doesn’t work with the Shield and not the opposite.
