incompatibility with Events Calendar Pro

    In a brand new WordPress install, I have Spectra, The Events Calendar, and Events Calendar Pro plugins installed and I enable the block editor in the Events Calendar. I then create an event and put 2 paragraph blocks in the event description. Next I try to transform the 2nd paragraph block to a list block. I then see the the browser page just hangs. If I disable the Spectra plugin then the problem goes away. Any idea what could be causing this problem?
