Incompatibility with Checkout on Facebook & Instagram Updates?

    What is the update regarding the incompatibility issues with Facebook and Instagram checkout? Where can we find updates? Was it resolved? The pinned post was 8 months ago. Has anything change? I contacted both Facebook and Woocommerce support. They both pointed me here for seeking support.

    Unfortunately the issue hasn’t been resolved yet. Once we have more details we’ll update the public announcement and our documentation. You can also keep track of updates in our Github issue here: https://github.com/woocommerce/facebook-for-woocommerce/issues/2538.

    @omarfpg Is this actually even being worked on between Woo and Meta? Because it seems like a pretty hopeless dead-end with not one single provided update here or on the Github issue in over ONE YEAR and every Woo site now losing all their Instagram sales because of this.

    I’m afraid the issue you’re experiencing is a known issue for US stores. Facebook for WooCommerce is currently incompatible with Facebook Shop. Following?Meta’s decision?to discontinue “Checkout on another website” support for merchants in the US and only support Checkout on Facebook & Instagram for this region, the plugin can no longer be used by merchants in the US to create Facebook/Instagram Shop until further notice.

    As an alternative, I’d recommend taking a look at the?WooCommerce Instagram?extension.?
