Incompatibility with CF7 version 4.2

Is the developer of this plugin still working on it? I notice it hasn’t been updated in almost a year…

I believe I have fixed this issue, as it worked in my dev environment.

Note: I cannot be held responsible for any problems it causes, although it should not cause any. I’d recommend doing a backup and doing it in a testing environment before going live with it.

If it’s a solid solution, I’ll submit a pull request to the developers for them to pull into their production plugin.

I think the original dev abandoned this plugin, so it’s up to us to keep this alive, apparently.

Have you Depromo and Colleague’s solution?

I don’t believe they have abandoned it, maybe just not realized it needs an update.

I didn’t try the other solutions because the aren’t solving the problem within the plugin. The problem is that Contact Form 7 changed how fields are inserted into the forms, and this plugin is still using the old way. I opened up the most recent version of CF7 and copied the new code over into this plugin where needed.

I’m working with the authors now to get my changes in place and an update released, I just don’t want my code to break their code, then break people’s sites.

Just released the update to 1.0.6. If there are any issues, let me know. I tested it with a clean install of WP 4.3 with the latest releases of CF7 and MailPoet without any issues.

2 days and no complaints, I am guessing the update to 1.0.6 fixed the issue. Going to mark this as resolved ??
