Incompatibility Between Photo Gallery Plugin and Divi Visual Builder

    My website is running WordPress 5.0.2, Divi theme 3.19.2, and Photo Gallery plugin version 1.5.14. When I click on the “Enable Visual Builder” button/link in the top nav bar in the admin dashboard, the page loading spinner spins forever, and the editor never loads. If I launch Google Chrome’s web developer tools, I see the following in the console:

    bundle.js?ver=3.19.2:2 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘id’ of undefined

    The file bundle.js is part of the Divi theme. When I deactivate the Photo Gallery plugin, the problem goes away. There must be some sort of incompatibility between the Divi Theme and the Photo Gallery plugin.

    Hi kimabaghdasaryan ,

    The Elegant Themes team has already fixed the issue in the Divi theme in version 3.19.3. The theme now works fine with the Photo Gallery plugin.

    Hi @kimabaghdasaryan,

    The solution is to upgrade the Divi theme to version 3.19.3. As far as what was done in the Divi theme to fix the issue, you’d have to talk to the folks at Elegant themes who made the change.

    This issue with the latest Divi Builder is not compatible.

    WordPress Version Version 5.1.1
    Elegant Themes
    DiviVersion: 3.21.1
    Divi Builder Plugin Version 2.21.1
    Photo Gallery Version 1.5.19

    I had support at Divi look at this and they say it is a plugin issue.
    Would you please investigate and if you need access to a site to see this problem, please contact me.
