The articles don’t have much information. Those permissions are always available to all plugins and I assume that the table name is wp_yoast_seo_links as it’s the only one that clearly has something to do with links.

This table has to hold both outgoing and incoming values somewhere.

Question, is Yoast PHP 7.4 compatible?

I had Kinsta restore file permissions. That allowed me to run the Start SEO data opt. This time the progress bar was visible while it processed. Yet the column was not visible or available to be selected as a screen option.

Went into phpmyadmin and found the values did exist on wp_yoast_indexable table. Disabled all plugins on Staging, cleared server and browser’s caches (I do this after every single change but in this case I think it’s important to highlight it) the columns was enabled and visible.

I reactivated the plugins one by one checking one by one if it affected that column. The answer was no. None of the plugins had any issues with Yoast whatsoever and the column remained visible.

Performed the same tasks in the Live site. It’s fixed.

I believe that for some reason I have found that The Events Calendar and Yoast have issues. When Yoast is updated, the event urls go 404. I found a fix for when this happens (but with Yoast updating every week, this becomes quite annoying so you may want to check into your compatibility with them as they are a pretty popular plugin as well – but this is not my business – up to you)

Anyway, I investigated, researched and tested (there were many other steps taken to figure this all out) and took care of it.

Leaving you the resolution just in case some other lost soul out there needs it.

    Cheers!!

    Hi,

We would expect Yoast to be compatible with PHP v7.4. We are still not sure what why the text link counter feature fails to show the outbound internal links but we ask the following:

    1. If you check for JavaScript errors do any appear on that page in the backend when you re-run the SEO Data button? If you are not sure how to look for JavaScript errors please use this guide https://yoast.com/help/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console/.

Are you able to take a screenshot or describe them? You can use a tool like: https://imgbb.com/ to share the image.

    2. If none appear, that sounds like a plugin or theme conflict. Please perform the following:

    A. Check for conflicts. Install the Healthcheck plugin and enable troubleshooting. Then switch to a standard theme like 2020. Does the issue resolve? NOTE: This will not affect how users see your site.

    B. If there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue?for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

    C. If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium?and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.
