Incoming links

  • I just have no idea, though my wordpress skill came to writing my own widget.

    Normally you all will see the Latest Activity box in your Dashboard with 4 things: Incoming Links, Comments, Posts and Blog Stats.

    But

    Now in my Latest Activity, there are only 3. Incoming Links doesn’t show up.

    Why? Why? Why? Thanks in advance cos I’m dying in questions.

  • the links are generated by technorati, which sometimes has hiccups. they’ll come back…

    The links are generated by Google Blog Search, not Technorati – WordPress switched from Technorati to Google, probably in connection with an AdSense deal. And yes, the incoming links funktion is broken, and the WordPress developers obviously don’t care, the AdSense money is probably flowing anyway …

    raffi: You’re replying to months old posts, and the change from Technorati to Google Blogsearch did not happen until very recently, with the release of 2.3.

    Check the date on posts before responding to them.
