  • I could see Exploit.Win32.WMF-PFV

This is a WMF (Windows Meta-File) rendering exploit. The rendering bug that is exploited lies in the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

The WMF file could be placed on a web site that the victim visits and gets infected.

The exploit may create a shell on the victim computer, or may download and install a worm or a spyware trojan.

The exploits ‘works’ on Internet Explorer and some versions of Mozilla. However some browsers may display a confirmation dialog about it.

WordPress is notifying you that someone, or more likely thing, has liked to your blog. Only you can see this link in the dashboard: don’t sweat it, just dont click the link – eventually it will disappear as real people add links to you.

Again: none of your visitors can see this link.

I also had a Virus in my blog. When I went to view source I could see and try to remove it but of course that did not help.

I had to eventually remove the whole set up from my c-panel. There was as far as I could see no way other to remove the virus.

I received this email from the Domain Registry of America
Connecting to this website results in extended data transfer
to/from IP 78.109.16.106 which appears to be a server in
the Ukraine. This transfer results in browser lockup, preventing
the user from disconnecting from the website without forced computer
shutdown or network disconnection. Data transfer may compromise sensitive
    personal information.
