    I get a problem:
    I configure fine the IMAP incoming email.
    All incoming emails are well converted as ticket and put as read on my mail server.
    ->first, is it possible that they still as unread on my mail server when they are converted to ticket. Because i also would like to download them as unread in thunderbird.
    ->When i block an incoming email address in email&filter setting, if this email address send an email, this email is not converted as tiket. However it is converted as read in my mail server. Can i still it as unread in my mail server.
    PS: My website is host in OVH so i use OVH mail server.

    WSDesk IMAP works in such a way that it pulls all the unread emails and converts it as tickets. So once the email is pulled, it is marked as read so that it won’t be pulled again. So if we mark the emails as unread even after it is converted to a ticket, then WSDesk will continuously pull the email along with other unread emails and there will be repeated tickets created for the single mail.

    Yes i understand. And this is a very logical behaviour.
    However When i block an incoming email address in email&filter setting, if this email address send an email, this email is not converted as ticket. That is ok. However this email is converted as read in my mail server. And this is a problem. This email is not read as it is not converted as a ticket.
    Any solutions?

    Hi,

    It is possible to set a filter for the blocked emails by moving the emails to different labels for example important. But the emails will be still read. This will only help if Thunderbird can pull the emails from a particular label.

    And how can i put automatically a label in emails that send by a specific blocked email address please?
