    Hi,
I′ld like to use some Contact-Form-7-Forms in different Blogs of the same WP-Multisite installation.
Has anybody an idea what to do?
    Thanks!

  • Install it in the plugins folder.
Go to each site. Click Activate.
Set it up on each blog as you would normally.

Hello Andrea_r, thanks for your answer. Offcourse I′ve already installed and activated the plugin. My question is: How could I use a form from one blog in an other blog – without duplicating the form. If I put something like
    [contact-form 1 "Kontaktformular"]
into a page, WP is looking for the form from this blog only, but NOT from an other blog in the Multisite installation.

Maybe there is no shortcode for that purpose, but an php-Code?

Mmm. No. Not really. Remember, MultiSite is Multiple. Separate. Sites. Like WordPress.com. The idea is NOT to cross-contaminate ??

The first (easiest) way would be to do a 301 redirect so /subsite/contact redirects to mainsite/contact.

How could I use a form from one blog in an other blog – without duplicating the form.

like Ipstenu said – you don’t.

If that’s what you *really* wanted, you’d have to recode the plugin to save the info in a global table instead of in the blog options.

you can create a page with a built in template which have a form hard coded in it.
then you can automatically create a page with the same template when ever you register a sub site.
its like creating another page similar to about page when ever a sub site is registered
