Including apostrophes and other characters

    Hi there,

    Is there a way to make WPES not exclude apostrophes in search strings? For example, we have products with Irish surnames, such as O’Neal. What’s happening with WPES is that it’s searching as ONeal. Whereas the default WordPress search searches correctly for O’Neal, so we get different results.

    I have noticed you have kindly supplied code to put into functions.php and was hoping there was something similar I could do with this situation.

    Hi,

    To test this I created a post with title O’Neal and made a search query using the same keyword O’Neal but I can see the post in search results.

    I think we are missing something here. Could you create a sandbox site here and replicate the issue https://tastewp.com/?
    So I can see the issue.
