Included Login Form redirects to WordPress Login on error

When I include the login form in the Page Content settings using the [LOGIN_FORM] shortcode, any error, such as an incorrectly entered password, redirects the user to the wordpress wp-login screen.
Is there no inline error handling for the included [LOGIN_PAGE]?
