include the exlude

  • Someone knows how to include the new exclude function in the drop_down_cat() function? For now it only exists in the wp_list_cats().

    No ideas on this? It’s rather crucial to me, because I have 5 categories I use to only display images with certain posts, and they may not appear in the drop_down list. I quess it should be not too difficult for someone with knowledge of php (big grin), but I can’t figure this out on my owny.

    I’m on top of some mountain I think…
    I’m really a rather patient person :). It’s just that I have this dropdownmenu in which 5 categories have to be excluded. And I don’t see why a lot of options were added to the normal wp_list_cat, but not to the dropdownversion? ??
