    Hi there

We are using this plugin: https://www.elegantthemes.com/plugins/bloom/ – but the cookie banner ignores this plugin and loads the cookies anyway before the visitor must accept the popup cookies.

What can we do? Google will begin to block ads if the website does not live up to the new rules.

    This is the cookies:

    etBloomCookie_optin_1
    et_bloom_optin_optin_1_46543534fd_imp

    Hi @dominoevers,

Note that while Google’s changes affects third-party cookies, it does not apply to first-party cookies.

Anyway, preventing these Bloom cookies would involve blocking the script(s) that create them, before consent is obtained. As it seems that these are created by the file bloom/js/custom.js, you can try to add that as the “URL to Block” under Complianz -> Integrations -> Script Center -> Block a script, iframe or plugin.

    Kind regards, Jarno
