Include roles in visibility in groups plugin

    Good morning,
    I’m using groups plugin to hide posts from the users. I’m wondering if is it possible to include roles in “Restricts the visibility of this post to members of the chosen groups.”?

    It would be very helpfull for my intranet site ??

    Hi Gregory,

    The restrictions with Groups aren’t intended to be used with roles but there is a way to achieve something similar by mapping roles to groups using this plugin:

    “A simple implementation that adds a user to a group based on role, a group named after the role is created automatically if needed.”

    You would have to assign existing users to their groups, that plugin only does the assignment for new users.
