Include remotely hosted post images when sharing to G ?

  • Hi,

    I host all my images on Flickr. I use a plugin (Awesome Flickr Gallery) which pulls gallery images from Flickr, and a theme (Invictus) which draws a static post background image from my Flickr stream.

    When posting to Google Plus, none of these images are displayed.

    In posts to Facebook, the images pulled by the plugin show up just fine.

    Is there any way to avoid including a static linked or locally hosted image in a blog post but still have G+ pick it up?
