When attempting to select titles other than the default one, an error occurs, preventing the selection of different posts.

Hello and thanks for using AQL.

I cannot reproduce this on my end. Can you provide a bit more information please?

    1. Is this happening while editing a template or on a piece of content?
    2. Can you explain further what you mean by “When attempting to select titles other than the default one”. I’m not sure I understand the context .
    3. Is it possible to share a screencast of what you are seeing with me?

    Thanks

    Hi Ryan,

thank you for your response, concerning your questions:

    1. This occurs in Site Editor and on a piece of content (e.g. new post in post editor)
    2. This occurs on some titles. Some posts work, some not.
    3. I’ve tried to create a helpful screencast showing the issue, but I don’t think it would help here. You would see only some posts will be selectible only and some not, but screencast is not showing any difference between the posts. Maybe access to staging to reproduce the issue live is a faster way to reproduce the issue. May I ask to send the credentials somewhere for a quick look?

    Kind regards,

    Matthias

    HI Matthias,

You can send access to [email protected] and I’d be happy to take a look.

Do you happen to have any posts without titles?

    Hi Ryan,

I’ve sent you the mail with the infos for the staging. Big thanks for looking into it.

    Matthias,

Thanks for providing that information. The issue seems to stem from your page titles having trailing spaces and so the the logic is failing – i.e “Die Fintech-Revolution ist tot” vs “Die Fintech-Revolution ist tot “

I’m not sure why that would be the case, but I was able to create a fix for it in AQL and will release it with the next release of the plugin.

That being said, it seems odd to me that the titles would have trailing spaces so you might want to look into why that is happening.

Thanks again for your patience on this.

I just released 3.1.1 with the fix I mentioned. Please let me know if you run into any further issues.
