Include Photo with Excerpt on Landing Page (Flickr API)

    Hi there
    I’ve created a page (Europe_2013) that will list all the post entries that have the category set to ‘travel’.

    When creating a post I will be using Flicker API plugin to display a slideshow of photos relevant to that post.

    How do I get a photo (happy for the system to select which photo) to show up on Europe_2013 page along with the excerpt of the post for each post?

    BTW – I’m not very knowledgeable about this kind of stuff, so if you can reply like your speaking to a 4 year old, (dot that i, cross that t…) that would be great!

    You’ll need to follow the directions on to change your output template. You can find them here:

    You’ll want to move that file to your theme and then customize it to include the image I’m not sure how that will work with the Flickr API, honestly, but I’d like to know.

    You could also just set a featured image for each post and pull that in.
