    Hello Stefano,

I like your plugin a lot. This is exactly what I needed to include a html file into another html source. I like to use it for a product configurator. I use CF7 which supports full html.

When placing shortcodes outside the CF7 form, they do work (via the settings in include-me). I expected standard CF7 fields to work also….?
When you open up the first accordion-item Port, you will see what I mean.

At the top you see 1 field before the include-me file is called. The rest is called via the include-me file and won’t work anymore…

    Any suggestions?

I don’t know if the CF7 shortcode are real shorcodes and if they my be inside a main shortcode (which must be in the inccluded file).

    Thank you for your reply.

This I do not know either. I guess you don’t have experience with the combination CF7 + Include-me ?

I will also ask the CF7 developer, maybe he can give more detailed information.

Usually the field “shortcodes” (which are not WP shortcodes) are not added to a page but in the form configuration and are executed by CF7 not by WP. This is what I know.

Hence they cannot work with include me. Do they work added directly in a page?

    Stefano.

You are correct, I just tested it.

The fields are only executed within the CF7 form. This is very unfortunate. I will ask the CF7 developer if the fields can get some kind of setting to make them work globally…

    Thanks for your insights.
