    Hi!
The plugin loads the icon font from Google servers, even when the option ‘Hide the icons of the accessibility options’ is checked. This causes a data privacy problem:
‘The German Court ruled that use of Google Fonts without prior consent is a violation of Europe’s GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) because Google Fonts exposes the visitor’s IP address.’
In older backups there is a fonts directory (accessible-poetry_v3.0.8/assets/fonts) which holds the Materialicons font.
Is there any chance of going back to that mode, or at least removing the call to fonts.googleapis.com (in dns-prefetch and CSS), if the icons are turned off?
    Thank you!

    Kind regards,
    Stefan Barth

You’re right, we already have a task to handle exactly that. Please check the next version that will be released in a few days (5.1.2).

    Hello again,
Please check out the new version (5.1.2). The option to hide the icons is now affect all the icons and also remove the calling to google fonts totally.

Please let me know if this solved the issue.

    Thank you
