Is there an option/approach to include or exclude FAQs by tag. We have several categories and FAQs that may apply to different topics that we’re representing with tags. We would like to create an FAQ page that includes all categories, but only includes FAQs with a specific tag. This seems like it would be analogous to using include_category (or exclude_category) attribute in the [ ultimate-faqs ] shortcode, but I don’t see an option to do anything with tags.

  • Hi captain,

Unfortunately, there’s no way to do that. There are currently no shortcode attributes that relate to tags, only categories. That being said, you should be able to do what you want by just creating some extra categories. You could assign all the FAQs that you want to show to a specific category (even if they’re already assigned to other categories) and then add the include_category attribute to the shortcode and specify the category you want to show.

OK, thanks for the response. That’s the approach we’ve taken, and it seems to be working.

The ability to include/exclude by tag would be a nice feature, though. Is there a spot to make a feature request?

    Hi @captainkirkwood,

We’ve noted this as a feature request and will discuss the viability of implementing it in a future update.
