    Hi Liddika,

Generally what you’d do is have a third menu which you’d assign to ShiftNav, which has your mobile-specific items. But if you want to add two menus into the ShiftNav Panel, you could hook an additional one in with PHP. For example, you could add a second with the ‘shiftnav_after’ hook, or grab the menu items from one menu and add them to another with one of the wp_nav_menu filters.

    Hope that helps,

    Chris

    Hello Chris,

Thank you so much for your Help. Of course, creating a 3rd menu just for ShiftNav, that’s the perfect solution for me. Don’t know why I didn’t think of that ??
    Thanks again!

You’re welcome! Glad it helped ??

Does shiftnav support a secondary menu? I wish that when the mobile menu version is tapped it will popup showing both primary and secondary menus, it could be acceptable also if the menus appear as one, the important thing is that only one button will be visible. for button I mean this:
Did you ever try this? Simple?

BTW, is the one site license valid also for the offline website (developer site)?

    Hi Blutarsky,

There’s no way to automatically know what your theme considers a “secondary menu”. But you can create a menu for ShiftNav with whatever menu items you like.

With ShiftNav Pro, you can have multiple menus, so you could create two panels, one with each of your menus.

Yes, the license is valid for both a test and production server.

If you have a Pro license, please submit support requests here: Submit a Ticket – thanks!

I thought WP would recognize menus automatically, because menus are treated separately in WP dashboard… I thought that WP menu would be automatically generated in Shiftnav…So it means that the menu structure (and links) must be manually updated from WP to Shiftnav? Could you clarify this?

Moreover, multiple neus (and panels) wuold lie behind the menu button? One button, multiple panels?

Last question: is Shiftnav compatible with WPML?

    Hi Blutarsky,

I think if you install the plugin and watch the Quick Setup video, this will all be clear to you.

You define a menu in the Appearance > Menus Panel as you would with any WordPress menu. You assign it to the ShiftNav theme location. If your theme has multiple menus, that is independent of ShiftNav.

The primary panel is controlled by the main ShiftNav Toggle Bar. If you want a second panel, you would add a toggle for that menu, and you can do so in the main toggle bar if you want – for example, a toggle on each edge.

I have not used ShiftNav and WPML together myself, but have seen many customers use them together successfully. You can certainly test that out with the free version if you like.

    Hope that helps,

    Chris

The theme I am using has a mobile menu. How can I disable this to test Shiftnav?

You just need to give ShiftNav the selector for the menu that should be hidden. Please follow the Quick Setup guide in the Knowledgebase, which walks you through all of this.
