    Hello, can you please let me know why your plugin is incompatible with the WooCommerce Product Image Flipper Plugin? It stops flipping a product thumbnail image while hovering over it when the Wish List is activated. The Flipper is helpful for customers to see when considering purchasing. I’ve included a weblink to one of the category pages that shows the product flipper image working — because I have had to deactivate the Wish List until this can be resolved.

    I was hoping to use your Wish List plugin to alert our contact list in an upcoming newsletter to let them know about the “new” Wish List to improve their user experience.

    Can you please let me know your suggestions for fixing.

    Many thanks!

    Hello Thanks to IT author, hoping to get your reply to this support question before we make an announcement very soon in our upcoming newsletter about your plugin. We want our website users to enjoy using it — but it has to be working first. Thanks!

    Hello,
    Sorry for the delay.

    Is this the flipper plugin you are using?

    I’ll take a look at it as soon as I can.

    It’s alright. Thanks for getting back, Pablo!

    Yes, that is the plugin I’m using and that yours seems to be incompatible with.

    Thanks for looking into it!

    I just tried it on my end and it seems to be working.

    Please, try to switch your theme to Storefront and check it again.
    Maybe the problem is something in your theme or another plugin getting in the way

    Pablo, thanks for checking it out.

    I need to keep my theme that accommodates the look of my visually artistic product site. I guess I can ask the Envy Pro author if he knows of any reason why these two plugins do not work together with his theme? However, because the image flipper works by itself and doesn’t when your plugin is deactivated, yet your plugin works when the image flipper is deactivated, it stands to reason that the Wish List plugin may be the culprit. Do you have a list of plugins that are known to pose issues with yours, so I can rule out any of these that I might have and test for problems?

    Would you upload your theme to somewhere so I can download it and test it?

    (@casart2)

    Hello Pablo, you can download the theme here to test:
    https://www.casartcoverings.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/CASART-theme.zip

    Once you do can you please let me know if there are any plugins that you know of that may pose issues with yours so I can narrow the field of what I’m using, which is a lot and no easy way to test. Thanks!

    Hello Pablo,

    I just activated your plugin on my site with the recent update you did and still not working with the WC Product Image Flipper plugin. Have you had a chance to test the theme I sent?

    Do you have a list of plugins that yours may be know to have issues with so I can narrow the field of plugin compatibility testing on my site?

    Please let me know. Hope to get it working soon. Thanks!

    Hello,

    Yes, it seems the problem is only css.
    Can you please add it to your Customizer > Additional CSS ?

    .woocommerce-LoopProduct-link{
    	position: initial !important;
    }

    Hello Pablo,

    My website manager inserted the code and I tested but it still did not work.

    Can you please tell me if you indeed tested the theme before I delete the zip file?

    Also, if you can please answer my previous question about if there are any other known-conflict plugins that you are aware of will help me narrow the field of the many I have to test on my site.

    Thank you!

    Hi,
    Yes, I tested and I’m pretty sure it solves the issue.
    Maybe he didn’t use the code correctly?

    If you want I can take a look at it for you.
    Or at least would you send me a screenshot of how it was set?

    Hello Pablo,

    This info below is from my web developer. She asks the question at the end and I continue to ask the question but not answered yet, is there any other known plugin incompatibility issues so I can test specifically with these if I have them? Thanks and forconfirming the theme test!

    Screenshot is here –
    https://www.casartcoverings.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/css-screenshot.jpg

    The css file is here –
    https://www.casartcoverings.com/wp-content/themes/envy-pro/style.css
    The code is on line 145, just under the / * Defaults * / section:

    > /* Styles for WooCommerce Product Image Flipper plugin */
    > .woocommerce-LoopProduct-link{
    > position: initial !important;
    > }

    Ask him if he thinks it needs any more css specificity

    Hello, I’m trying to resolve this today so I can get it working, mention in a newsletter this week and promote your plugin to others.

    Please let me know answers to last email. Many thanks!

    Hum, it seems just right.
    Are you using some caching plugin? If you are, try to clear the cache.

    If you want, I can take a look.
    If that’s the case, please send a message to [email protected]

    Hello Pablo, I appreciate your help and offer to take a further look but after all this, your plugin is still not compatible with the Image Flipper.

    Unfortunately, I didn’t receive an answer from you about which other plugins it might conflict with to possibly be causing the issue. With a time constraint to get this in place, I have deactivated and deleted yours from my website and using one that works.

    Many thanks and wishing you all the best in your endeavors.
