Inbout RSS Update Frequency

  • I’ve got a neighborhood blog that uses an RSS feed from my personal weather station to broadcast weather at the home page:
    https://www.wootenna.com

    The problem is that although the RSS feed is updated regularly, and there is a short TTL defined in the feed, WordPress apparently doesn’t update the cache timely. How can I set the update frequency to something reasonable? Since this is weather, it should be pretty short, perhaps every minute or two.

    P.S. If you follow the link to Allandale, you get to a neighborhing neighborhood block which uses the exact same RSS feed for weather.
