Inactivity Timeout, Slow Loading… Nightmare

  • Hey there!

    So my website (www.nefariousrealm.com) is increasingly lagging with loading and now timing out. While my home page is a bit on the fancier side, the slow loading is universal throughout the website.

    Frequently, I am getting a Inactivity Timeout message, that too much time has passed without data transfer.

    Also, happening constantly, when adding a post, I see the “Connection Lost” message and saving the draft in the browser.

    …And when uploading a image file, I receive a message saying “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” Though if I refresh the page or simply search for the image, it uploaded just fine.

    I do not know what’s causing this, nor do I know if these issues are all connected. My web hosting provider offered no useful help because they consider WordPress a third party tool, so I’m on my own.

    Any help tackling any of these issues or explaining things to me would be much appreciated as I’m not exactly a pro at coding and such.
