• I’m building a test site to eventually launch a real online auction from for our Fall Pledge drive next month.
I’m, therefore, anticipating bidder behaviors and have noticed that when I add a new bid for a substantially higher amount than the currently recommended minimum “Place Your Bid Here
Bid $530.00 or higher” say, if I were to add a new bid for 800.00, the bid increment would only recognize the bid increase of $5.
The only way to get the accurate ‘new’ bid is to refresh the page and form field. This then injects the CORRECT new bid and injects it into the current bid price for the item.

How can I get this to work without forcing a page refresh (I cannot imagine in my life sending out some notification to potential bidders to refresh their page to accurately reflect their ‘real/original’ bid amount…

Also, I can’t seem to get the ‘Bid Now’ button to work from the front-page (which is currently set to most recent posts because the shortcode for the entire auction [wdm_auction_listing] is not working.

So, the only way to get the bid now function to work is either go to the associated auction post OR access the auction item through the AJAX popup window.

    Please help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

You have multiple auctions showing on the same page. Please hide them behind ‘read more’, so that the visitors go to the actual page instead of bidding on the same page with multiple bidding fields.

    Hope that helps.

    Sorry for the late reply.
