Inability to edit front page

  • The Optimizer theme has worked well for me for over half a year but recently I can’t edit my front page. I have a static slider and if I select “edit content” in the Customize menu, I get a blank box I can’t type into. What can be the reason?

  • Deactivate all your plugins. If problem resolved, one at a time activate plugins back on to see which one is the culprit.

    Change theme to standard ones like “twenty <something>” themes to see if problem resolves .
