Inability to design individual pages

    Hello. Please I need help with updating my pages using the site editor. My front page and blog page worked alright, but when I try to update individual pages, the editor only allows me to do so by editing the template. This affects all pages. So, I can only have same content on my About page, Contact page and others. And when I use the edit page from the dashboard, the changes are not reflected on my live website. Maybe this is because I used the site editor to develop the website from the beginning. I use the Blockpage theme. I need help to correct this so I can design my pages accordingly. Thanks

  • Hi there,

    You can switch the page’s template to blank, and either design the content section of this specific page as you like, or edit the blank template file so you could use it for similar pages.

    This is how you select a different template:

    1. In the page edit screen, click the Settings icon:

    2. In the Page tab, click on Pages or Default template (to the right of Templates):

    3. Select blank (or another template) from the drop-down
