In what way are calendar events treated as “posts”?

  • I’m assuming that new events won’t show up alongside my actual posts, but do I need to worry for example that WordPress will email my blog subscribers with events I create as if they were posts?

    Is there any way at all that events will appear to be “posts” outside of their use by this plugin for calendar events?

    Hi,

    Events are posts (but of type thc-event), so chances are there will be an e-mail sent when you add one.
