in-theme template override is not working

  • Link templates overrides are not showing up in front end when using for example [wpdm_category] shortcode
    everything works well in back end and I can see my custom templates and template overrides in action when I click ‘Preview’, but in front end they are fetched just from plugin’s ‘/tpls’ directory, completely ignoring override in theme’s ‘/download-manager’ directory (both in parent and child theme).
