In the widget area not working

    Hi,

    I’ve selected to put my footnotes in the widget area. I have created a custom widget area with dynamik website builder so I can place the footnotes toward the bottom of my post, but not at the very bottom as I want to put more text after it. I have put the footnotes widget in the custom widget area but the footnotes do not show up. However if I drag the footnotes widget to my primary sidebar, the footnotes appear in it.

    I don’t think the issue is with my custom widget area because the text, search, and other widgets work in it. I’m using the latest footnotes version (1.6.1). Do you have any clues as to why it won’t display in my custom widget area?

    I found the solution to this problem. In expert mode, you need to tick “the_post:”
