In the home page blog section, short codes are showing up as content

  • WordPress verion: 4.2.2
    Gridsby version: 1.0.39

    I am using gridsby theme, and have the blog section enabled in the home page.
    In there, I have a post that uses the short code tags [su_row][su_column] etc. I’ve noticed that these tags show up in the blog content excerpt as below:
    “This is a test. [su_row][su_column size=”1/2″] Lorem ispsum dolor sit amet…”
    How can I make it show the real content without the underline tags?
