In the center of my page on the left hand side is a white “black hole”

  • There is a white space on the left about midway down the page onto which nothing can be placed. It is some kind of far indented left margin. I converted the image into a paragraph and typed a sentence; the words start in the middle of the page but the return back to the proper left margin on the second line. What am I missing?
