Hello, I have stock management disabled, however for all of my product pages, “In Stock” Schema is displayed in Google SERPs. Is it possible to remove “In Stock” from Woocommerce Schema? Thanks for the help!

    Hi there,

Stock management in WooCommerce means you’re able to set the individual quantities of stock available. Stock status, on the other hand, just highlights whether a product is in-stock or not.

In terms of removing that, there are a few options:

    • You could change the WooCommerce template files for the single product page through a template override and then removing that schema from the markup (This will require a custom child theme)
    • You could “train” Google on which parts of the single product page to ignore using their tools: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2692911?hl=en

Hi RK, thanks for the information.

My theme provider is saying that Schema of Woocommerce is made as hook and can’t be changed from the templates.

    I’ll investigate the data highlighter.

    Thank you – Jason
