    Hi Rene,

Just got the plugin up and running, when I view the home page, it is in staging but if I click any of the links it takes me to live version.

    > Pages > All Pages, when I hover over the “View”, it shows the link to staging i.e. .com/staging/?page_id=6050 but, when I click the link it takes me to the live version.

Is that supposed to happen? Shouldn’t I be able to browse and view changes in staging?

Also, after editing, how do I transfer the changes to live site?
I might have overlooked it but I didn’t see any mention of this in the doc’s

This should not happen. Please check if permalinks are still disabled on the staging site. Go to settings->permalinks

If this is still the case i like to assist you more with this. Please mail me support [at] wp-staging.com

This is not automatically possible at the moment. (I am working on this).
For now you have to transfer all your changes manually to the live site or use a plugin like WP Migrate DB for automatic transferation.

Ok, I saw the export/import option in Tools.

The permalinks are set to Plain.

I am going to run a new install as I can see the security plugin and wp rocket should have been excluded from cloning, might be the reason it’s not working.

    Will report back when done.

You can disable both when you rename via ftp the plugin folder of both plugins in the staging site subfolder.

(I will create a new option to disable specific plugins on the staging site later)

I am pretty sure one of these plugins is causing the issue.

In the first run I overlooked the options to click the links and select from the options before cloning, I can exclude tables, plugins, backup folders and other stuff not needed in staging from there.

(I will create a new option to disable specific plugins on the staging site later)

I think that will be a must-have feature.

After the second run, I still have the same issue.

    > Settings > General, the links points to .com/staging
    > Settings > Permalinks, still set on Plain

I am going to disable plugins and see if that’s help.

    Rene,

Disabled all plugins without any change.

    > Apperiance > Menus, for this site, all links are made in menus and they all points to staging when I hover over them but takes me to the live home page but not where they point to.

Not sure why, as the menus links are all Catogory links but not Custom links.

I can browse the blog in staging enviroment but if I click the menus links or C&P the url, I am taken to live home page but not where it point to.

C&P links into the browser to staging pages takes me to live pages.

Seems as the url to pages or pages have not been incluted in the clone.

    > Pages > All Pages, click on view takes me to the live home page.

Switched over to twenty 15 theme, menus does not show, if I C&P links, I am still taken to live site.

I am not sure what I should try next!
