in new posts: only alt text no images

  • Hi there,
    Since two days -only in new posts- there is a problem with images: when I insert or upload-insert an image, after saving/publishing the post, the image is immediately converted into its alt-text with a link on it. The tag is not in the code.

    I see now that in new pages (next to new posts) the same problem exists; it seems to be related to the editor removing code automatically??

    Is this specific to your theme? If so then I recommend contacting the theme authors as we don’t support commercial themes here.

    Try deactivating all of your plugins and then switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to see if the issue persists
