In new domain but View Site goes to old site

  • I am trying to create a new WordPress site in a new domain. I have loaded WordPress and a new theme but when I click on “View Site” it shows the site from my other domain but with the new domain name. How does it even know about my first site? I am worried that if I update my second site, it will somehow overwrite my first site (which is actually not WordPress).

    Here are the two links, to show what I mean:

    First site:
    https://antiguahistory.net/

    New:
    https://marinabayantigua.com/

    It also says my site is displaying a “Coming soon” page but it clearly is not.

  • It appears the hosting account is not set up properly the new site should be an add-on domain. Instead, it looks like it is parked.

    If you can’t sort it out, maybe your hosting company can.
