In local installation – Not able to log in to admin area. Please help…

Hi
I tried installing wordpress locally using WAMP server. Every thing went smoothly, It was installed and it genetated password. After which when I tried to login It just reloads the same login page. I tried reinstalling several times It does’t seem to work. I tried firefox and ie but same result.
The whole day I have wasted. I finally desided to get help from you guys. I registered for an account in wordpress for this purpose.
Can any body please help me out
