In combination with the WPML plugin, thumbnails are removing language

  • Hi Iulia,
    I also have the WPML plugin installed at the same time as your amazing plugin and I noticed that when I removed the language version from the site, it also removed all the thumbnails. This is because the language plugin creates duplicate attachment IDs in order to translate the meta information of the uploaded files. Your plugin has an otherwise very handy feature that when attachments are removed, their thumbnails are also removed, which I guess is how you wanted to keep your media library tidy. WPML does something very similar when removing the language but does not remove the original attachment files. Plus this is a paying plugin so few people out there can test it, so I’m just reporting that I figured it out.

    Hi Jiri,

    Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately, I don’t have the paid plugin to test some more. Is this something that happened recently, or has it always worked like that?
