In combination with Elementor, links are always global color 1

Hi, on pages created with Elementor, no matter what I set in the Customizer as link colors, links always use
var(--sydney-global-color-1). On hover, links always use#443f3ffrom the theme stylesheet, no matter what I try…The only way to change link colors is to change the global color 1. Is this a known conflict with Elementor?
