Try using the phpMyAdmin app to find the missing posts. It gives you direct access to DB content. It’s usually accessed through your hosting account. Navigate to your posts table, then use the search tab to find the missing posts. Obviously you’d need some kind of criteria to match against. If you’re unsure of the complete value of a field, use the LIKE %…% option (wildcard search).

Unless you really know what you’re doing, I strongly advise not attempting to recover or change anything in the DB using this app. You can corrupt the entire DB if you’re not careful. If you find the missing posts, I recommend opening the post for editing, but only to copy/paste content into a new post, not to alter the existing post.

If the missing posts do not exist in the posts table, I’m afraid they are lost for good. Good luck in your search.

If you don’t see the link to the Trash folder when looking at all posts in WP admin, it’s because the folder is empty, and you don’t have anything you can restore. That means the post is deleted permanently.

So first, deactivate all plugins temporarily and inspect if that solves your problem; If it works, then reactivate them one by one to find which one is causing the actual problem.

If it does not work, switch to the unedited default Theme (Twenty nineteen) to find if there is any issue related to your theme.

Also, try scanning the site for viruses or malware. For that, install plugin Wordfwnce plugin and scan your site.

But if your post is permanently deleted, you can recover it from your backup in WordPress with the help of plugins you are using, or your host may help in that issue, and it also can be recovered with the help of Softaculous.
Note: Before proceeding to recover your backup copy of the post, First backup your full website.

Hope this will help you and you will recover your post soon.
