• After upgrade from 2.9.2 – 3.0.1 the admin screen no longer displays any posts or pages on their respective screens.

Also, when I choose “add new” I don’t have: screen options, publish, or save

    What have I tried:
    1. deactive all plugins
    2. database repair and optimization
    3. delete database and install from scratch

I’m going crazy on this one….

not sure if this is allowed, but: BUMP

I have tried all the basics:
    – deactivated all plugins
    – revert to default theme
    – back up db, do fresh install
    – db repair and optimization
    – double check that user permissions are correct
    – memory limit is 32m

    any ideas????

Have you tried resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Are your posts actually in your database?

    Thanks for the reply esmi

YES, I’ve seen your posts in response to hundreds of help requests and have followed every option you outlines.

I can confirm that there ARE posts in the database. More than that: When I do a FRESH INSTALL, the test post and about page don’t display either….

Long shot – try adding define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false ); to the bottom of your wp-config.php file (just before the require_once line).

If that doesn’t work, remove it and see if you can get hold of any error logs. My guess is that you’ve hit some kind of hosting/server issue post-upgrade. What kind of server are you using? Have you checked the PHP & MySql versions?
