    Hi @csigncsign

Please calm down (and remove this 1-star rating). We’re getting your posts from all across www.remarpro.com.

PublishPress and EditFlow are basically the same plugin with the same features. So you will need to choose: either PublishPress or EditFlow.

You can contact us here: [email protected].

    1. It is a no-go to disable furtively activated plugins of a user by your plugin – without message, without warning. If you think your plugin causes problems with other plugins, you have to communicate that with a notification and not to disable users’ plugins.

    2. “We’re getting your posts from all across www.remarpro.com.” –
it is probably because you subscribed to 1 (in words: ONE) forum’s post where we covered this topic. So not my “guilt” if you are then notified by your own subscription.

    3. When 1 star is my opinion, it is my opinion here for the “free” plugin, because it is by no means an equivalent to EditFlow concerning its features. If one needs the same features, he has to pay … and the plans start with $59.

    1. There’s nothing furtive here. You’ll get a big warning:
https://publishpress.com/knowledge-base/migrate/. I just tested on a new site and that notification showed.

“Edit Flow was deactivated by PublishPress. If you want to activate it, deactive PublishPress first.”
“We have found Edit Flow and its data! Would you like to import the data into PublishPress?”

    3. The free version of PublishPress literally has every single feature that Edit Flow does, plus extras.

@1 no, I do not have such a notification, just discovered this in the documentation!
WP 5.2.3DE, multisite with domain mapping, not network enabled, only enabled at 1 sub site.

Hi @csigncsign. Thanks for the details of your set up.

In 2+ years, no-one has every mentioned not seeing this notice. But this could be a bug that has gone unreported until now. Certainly your set up sounds like it could be an edge case. We have passed this to our team as a possible bug to test.
