Improving the plugin compatibility with caching by using ajax

    You wrote in the other notes section that you’ve been thinking about implementing ajax features to the plugin. Do you have any schedule for developing this? It would be great feature to have because the only thing missing from the plugin is the need to disable caching on the shop pages. At least on my install it seems that having the cache enabled with this plugin makes the timer not work properly and the shopping cart also shows products from other people’s carts.

    Our website is loading quite fast even without the cache enabled so this isn’t the worst problem but anyway it would be nice to streamline the pageload even more.

    It is not on my schedule at this time, I have plenty of other paid work on the schedule to take care of before I’ll be able to fit that in.

    Are you sure the issue with showing other peoples carts is related to this plugin? Depending on your setup you would possibly have the same issue with WooCommerce by itself.

    I understand you being busy.

    I’m not 100% sure if the problem is just with this plugin, but besides showing other customers’ carts also others’ countdown timer is also shown. I’ll have to investigate more. And like I wrote, this isn’t the greatest problem, because we get quite good loading times even without the cache. But if this ajax feature would get added someday, it would be wonderful.
