Improvements for UV
-
Since Woocommerce User Email Verification (WUEV) plugin seems to have been abandoned by its support team, my guess is that most of their customers will migrate to a different solution, and User Verification (UV) plugin is pretty much one of the first at hand. This could be your chance to get ahead, guys!
However, I have compared WUEV with UV and I would strongly suggest you take the good stuff of the former and implement it in your plugin.
REALLY awesome features of WUEV (that are missing in UV):
– Admin can choose between sending the activation key in a separate e-mail or to include the Verification Email Text in the default Woocommerce Welcome Email (it’s kind of annoying how User Verification sends a separate e-mail for the activation key and I so much prefer to have only the default welcome e-mail which would also contain the activation link.);
– Admin can choose between customizing the e-mail templates or using the WooCommerce native e-mail Header, Footer and styling (I personally prefer to use the native WC email template (which I’ve already customized), so that there is a consistency in the format of all my WC Emails, but UV doesn’t have this possibility.)
Bottom line, you guys should really have a look on WUEV which is FREE and it’s much easier to use, has good features and design and is less buggy than UV. Take the good stuff tips and step up your game for UV.
Cheers
