    Hi,

2 suggestions which I find would be great improvements, and shouldn’t be very complicated, I guess:

It would be great to be able to pre-select by default some lists when using a form where users can choose the lists they want. Ideally, you would have in forms settings a case “select by default” for each list.

It would be nice to have a page where users can add and/or remove lists (manage their subscriptions). Again, when they can select lists. Currently, they can add some by subscribing to the additional lists with the form (but they have to enter their email address again). But you can only unsubscribe from everything. A “manage your subscriptions” link in the emails and maybe a page where users could be redirected for this, would be really great.

    Hi Mevo,

    Thanks for your suggestion.

You mean to say that we should preselect few list and then subscriber can check/ uncheck list. Is it?

Yes, currently there is no page from where contacts can manage their subscription.

But, we have already added provision to allow contact to choose a list from which they want to unsubscribe upon clicking on Unsubscribe link.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Malay,

Sorry, I probably expressed myself very badly. What I meant is:
When “Allow contact to choose list(s)” is on YES, you can already select the lists which the user can select from, and this is GREAT ! Right now for the user, all the lists are unchecked by default. So the user has to check what he wants. I would love to be able to do the opposite: Having the lists checked by default and the user has to uncheck what he doesn’t want.

My suggestion was to have for each list a second case “checked by default”. But for me personally, I really want to have ALL lists checked by default instead of unchecked.

WHY I would like this is because I plan to have one list per subject (category) of the blog, and let users choose which notifications they actually want. I plan to have around 10 lists. And it’s more about having the choice to avoid a few rather then to just select a few. 10 cases to check is quite a lot of clicks for the user. That’s the reason why I would love to have the 10 cases already checked and the user may uncheck what he doesn’t want.

I hope it makes more sense like this.

That’s very good, and what is probably the most important. They can add with the form. It was especially this: Having to unsubscribe from everything rather than being able to just unsubscribe from one or a few list(s), that I didn’t like very much.

I don’t see that functionality. Will it be in the next versions ? Or the free version doesn’t have it ?

    Thanks.

Got it. Will consider this in future.

Sorry..my bad. I didn’t mention that it’s available in premium version of Email Subscribers.

BTW, thanks for your all hard work explaining your use case in detail. We really appreciate it.

And one more thing, if you like this plugin, don’t forget to give us 5 stars review. It will motivate us to continue doing good work.
