"improved" admin paging navigation resets to beginning

I don’t like the new paging navigation controls on things like the Edit Tags page. I can only choose first page, last page, next page, or previous page. Before I could choose from about 6 different pages which made it easier to drill into the middle of the set.

Coupled with the new ability to sort the entries by clicking on the column name, there is a definite problem. I’ve always wanted to be able to sort, so thank you for finally adding that! But once I sort and then delete a bunch of tags on a page, it takes me back to the default view of first page, no sort. What’s up with that?
