• Hi everyone, I’m an almost happy user of Hueman Theme (both in Free and Pro version).

In several years of use there is only one thing that I really don’t like: how a website is displayed in tablet version. It is really embarrassing graphically.

Is it possible to set the “mobile” versione also for tablets? Which is much more pleasing to the eye and much easier to use.

I hope this request can be taken seriously (please Nicolas).

I’m preparing a fix for the tablet problem.

Thanks Nicolas, I hope to see this implementation (option) soon.

Visualize a website in the mobile version is much more pleasant on a tablet. On touch screens, menu management would become easier. Readers will thank ??

Hmm, this makes me both curious and slightly worried.

Except the broken sub-menus (reported here) I can’t see what is wrong with the way Hueman looks on a tablet.

I’m worried that “fixing” a non-existent problem will introduce other issues.

@xaviermi: It would be interesting – and probably helpful to the theme author @nikeo – to know specifically what is wrong with the way Hueman looks on tablets? Also, what tablet are you using?

There is nothing to be worried about.

The problem is: on tablets (compared to the desktop version) the sidebars are minimized and the title menù instead of shrinking they end a line below making the theme unwatchable and less intuitive.

The sidebars disappear (or rather they are placed after the articles, not alongside) and the menu is much more intuitive without breaking the theme.

Just add an option where anyone (I mean the website owner) can choose whether to set desktop view or mobile view when using a tablet.

Thank you for the explanation and screenshots.

Personally I don’t mind how Hueman in desktop mode looks on my iPad Mini (at least when the top menu is not too complex). Viewing Hueman on a normal-sized (10-inch) tablet in mobile mode would be very strange, in terms of both layout/design and user-interface. However, I totally respect that others have a different opinion.

An option for the site owner sounds like a good compromise. I really hope that Hueman will not force the mobile layout on all tablets without the option to change it in the theme settings.

Hope this implementation can be enabled very soon …
